Onessa Ahmed, CEO, Co-Founder

Ms. Ahmed is co-founder and leads the origination and execution of development for Tridge Partners.  Currently, she is managing a JV for a $110 million mixed-use development project in Miami, overseeing land acquisition, development, capital raising, and financing. Previously, Ms. Ahmed spearheaded a billion-dollar mixed-use ultra-luxury development concept, and hotel, residences, and private club for Manhattan. Ms. Ahmed was also instrumental in the reposition, rebranding, and development resulting in the successful disposition of The Raleigh Hotel, Miami Beach.

Prior to Tridge Partners with Wynn Las Vegas, as Director introduced innovative strategies for the 2700 room hotel. She launched the first enterprise value for the leisure segment, converting guests into loyalists. Ms. Ahmed is a 20 year veteran of luxury hospitality and fashion apparel brands with market experience: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Houston.

Currently calling Miami home, her minority and woman-owned development company focuses on boutique-scale development in urban cores.


Richard J. Cotter, President, Co-Founder

Mr. Cotter is a hospitality veteran who has successfully facilitated the financial turnaround and growth of several multi-dimensional hotel companies. Co-founding Tridge Partners, he oversees investment acquisition, capital raise, structure, and asset management.  Internationally, he was the key person that raised equity funds to develop hotels in Columbia as a partner in BriCapital with $400 AUM. In the Caribbean, Anguilla, St. Barths, Jamaica, and the Bahamas he was active with luxury hotel investments from $20 million to $50 million.

Previously, as Executive Vice President of Wynn Las Vegas, Mr. Cotter opened the 2716 room resort spanning over 250 acres with 19 restaurants. As Vice President of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, he launched St. Regis worldwide in two years to nine hotels, and was responsible for 37 hotels including all of Starwood brands. Launched the New York Palace a five-star hotel introducing the Le Cirque, with a $120M repositioning. One of his most cherished professional accomplishments is his contributions to the iconic Waldorf Astoria's first renovation in twenty-five years to capture the essence of a once-great hotel.

Mr. Cotter has been honored with the Distinguished Citizen Award of Beverly Hills and the Corporate Citizen Award from the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce. He serviced as Vice President of the Hotel Association of New York and Board Member of NYC & Co. He launched the Hospitality Research Center at Cornell University, was an advisor at Howard University’s Hotel program and the Tisch Hospitality program at NYU.
